RFLC Laxers-

Note- Fall Ball lacrosse is a limited program offering differing from the traditional Spring full season.  Program fee is $180 + US Lacrosse Membership (if you participated in Spring you membership should be valid (annual renewal) - please verify with USL- this is mandatory to participate - not exceptions).

We are excited to start Fall Ball lacrosse on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9/17 - 10/20 for the following ages:

2019-20 AGES BASED ON DOB AS OF 9/1/19 - BASED ON AVAILABLE COACHES- BOYS U10 (ENTERING 4TH GRADE), U11 (ENTERING 5TH GRADE), U12 (ENTERING 6TH GRADE), U13 (ENTERING 7TH GRADE) & U15 (ENTERING 8TH GRADE) WILL BE OFFERED THIS FALL.

GIRLS - U11 (ENTERING 5TH GRADE), U12 (ENTERING 6TH GRADE), U13 (ENTERING 7TH GRADE) & U15 (ENTERING 8TH GRADE) WILL BE OFFERED THIS FALL.

Players should be dressed and ready by practice start time.
BOYS: Practice time - 5:30pm-7pm.  Practice field at Bridges HS in Carbondale - best accessed on 3rd St.

GIRLS: Practice time - 4:15pm- 5:45pm.  Practice field at Willits Rugby Field in El Jebel (this is the field upvalley from Willits shopping Center (not Crown Mnt).

Please make sure your child has all equipment along with a filled water bottle and sweatshirt/fleece as the weather can become cool in the evenings.  We have a habit of playing rain or shine (accept of course lightning) and only in the rare instance of "ugly/stormy" will cancel practice.  We will send out a group text to the primary account contact by 3pm if we are to cancel- otherwise plan on being there.

Complete equipment includes: stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder and arm pads, cup, mouthpiece, cleats.

Our goals for this five week session includes a fun active time to (further) learn the sport of lacrosse and focus on "fundamentals" and lacrosse acumen development through the fast paced 7 v 7 format.

For boys - we will conclude the Fall Ball season with a one-day tournament hosted by the Vail Lacrosse Club - played in Eagle on Sunday Oct. 20-  7v7 format.

For Girls - we will play in Vail Tourney Oct 20 as well as host a "friendly" at Crown Mountain Park on Sunday Oct 13, participate in friendly on Oct 6th in Steamboat, and one in Aspen (TBD).
